IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gordon “Gordy”
Clark
March 6, 1952 – March 27, 2023
SFC US ARMY, Gordon "Gordy" Clark, 71, of Milton NH passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2023.
Gordy, or Grandpa to most, was born on March 6, 1952 in Woodstock NB Canada. He grew up in Houlton, ME and eventually became a resident of Milton in 2011. He retired from the Army (where he earned the nickname Sparky)in 1991 at Ft Eustis, VA after 20 years of aviation service where he spent time in places like Korea & Germany. Gordy also spent time in the Mediterranean while serving in the Marines prior to joining the Army. He loved hiking, fishing, camping and hunting and included his grandchildren in these adventures regularly. In the recent years, Gordy enjoyed flying his RC planes and drone at his favorite field in Milton Mills. His greatest joy was being a grandpa and a Papa. He loved spoiling and spending time with his granddaughter Kassandra, his "adopted grandson" Johnny and being the best Papa ever to their two children, Grace (Papa's girl) and John (Papa's little Ironman). He always made sure to keep the snack drawer full of treats and plenty of batteries on hand for toys 😁
Gordy is preceded by his mother, Thelma Fowler and father Vinal Clark, his brother, Barry Clark and his wife, Cheryl Clark. He is survived by his children Philip Clark (MA), Amanda Kirby (Raleigh, NC) and Teresa Clark (Milton, NH), eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. His step father Randy Fowler, sisters Christine Stevens(Jeff), Sherry Hardy (Cliff), Pam Prosser (Conrad) and brother Mike as well as so many loved nieces and nephews.
