Gloria Rita (Gelinas) Berry, age 88, of Spring Street in Farmington, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at her home, after a period of failing health.

Born August 28, 1928 in Rochester, NH, the daughter of Ernest and Yvonne (Messier) Gelinas, she was a lifelong resident of Farmington.

Gloria spent her life taking care of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and countless number of other people's children at her daycare.

Nana was a woman of many talents, she was an amazing cook, seamstress and knitter. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed camping, watching the Red Sox and playing Bingo.

Predeceased by her loving husband Willis H. Berry, she is survived by their 3 children: William J. and wife Diane Berry of Farmington, Elaine M. and husband Robert Fifield of Farmington, Robin A. Berry of Rollinsford, grandchildren: Traci Cameron and husband William Jr., Shaun Fifield, David Fifield, Elisabeth Hill and husband Jeff, great grandchildren: William Cameron, III and fiancée Taylor Moore, Thomas Cameron, MacKenzie R. Hill, Sophie Fifield, Addison Fifield and Nora Fifield, great great grandchildren: Leah Cameron and William "Willis" Cameron, IV, her brother Robert Gene Gelinas, also many nieces, nephews and so many others that called her "Nana Berry". Predeceased by her sister Theresa Gelinas and brothers: Albert and Paul Gelinas.

The family would like to thank Cornerstone VNA and Hospice, as well as, son Bill and daughter in law Diane, daughter Elaine Fifield and granddaughter Elisabeth, who made it possible for Gloria to stay in the comfort of her home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 2pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH, with a calling hour prior to the service from 1-2pm. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington.
