Glen A. Francis, age 78, of Milton Mills, NH, died quietly at home on November 10, 2024.
Born May 2, 1946 in Malden, MA, a son of Brad & Rolene (Davenport) Francis, he grew up in Malden, MA. He resided at Balch Lake on Francis Road in East Wakefield, NH for 26 years.
A Veteran, he served with the United States Marines Corps, during the Vietnam War, a recipient of 6 Purple Hearts and a Silver Star.
After Vietnam, Glen rode his motorcycle for many years, across the country, enjoying life's adventures.
Glen was a former member of the American Legion #7 in Rochester.
He had been self employed as a Mason in the local area. Glen loved to ride his motorcycle, boating, fishing, woodworking, creating woodcarvings, gardening in his yard and, shooting his cannon across Balch Lake and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survived by his wife Robin B. (Mooney) Francis, his son Tim Caouette and his wife Terri, his stepchildren: Wendi her husband Ibrahim, Becki and Wally and his wife Casey; 13 grandchildren, brother Felton Francis, sister Diane Cipriano, also many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Eric Jason Francis and brother Louis Francis.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road in Sanbornville, NH with a calling hour prior from 10-11am, family and friends are welcome. Military honors by the USMC will be at 11:15am. If desired, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Disabled American Veterans.
