George H. Perkins Jr. ( Sonny), 81, of Strafford NH passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on March 12,  2024.

Born September 5, 1942 in Wolfeboro, NH. He was the son of George H. Perkins Sr. and Thirza B. (Elliott) Perkins.

George was a veteran from the United States Army.

He retired from Nissan Bakery as a truck driver.

He was predeceased by the love of his life, Sheila D. Perkins. They were married for 35 years.

George enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with family and friends. He was a man of deep faith and attended church regularly. He loved sitting on the porch with his wife watching the birds. He enjoyed walking in the woods and visiting history museums.

He leaves behind his children Karen Perkins and her significant other Scott, Georgia Miller, Gayle Gorman and her husband Joseph, Walter Blidberg and his wife Debra, and Ricky; his sister Betty Christofore and her husband Rick. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many nieces

Please join us for a celebration of life service on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Third Baptist Church located at 30 Strafford Rd, Strafford, NH 03884.

Following the service we will gather for fellowship and refreshments.
