George was born in New York, NY,  son of George and Evelyn Sinnott on the 22nd of September, 1949.

He attended high school in West Hempstead, NY. In 1980 he planted his roots in Suffolk County, NY where he worked as Deputy Sheriff for the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department. He remained an avid member of the Retired Police Association of the State of New York thereafter.

In 1995 George became a NH resident. He enjoyed his career as an Engineering Technician of the Construction Management Department of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for 12 years, until 2020 when he retired and could finally enjoy his lake home, which he had spent much of his life updating and reconstructing in the after hours of work.

George is survived by his sisters Mary Riley, Christine Sinnott, and Elizabeth Sinnott, his brother David Sinnott, his daughter Katie Sinnott, his son Patrick Sinnott, and his daughter Erin Reid, also his Grandchildren Mikayla Reid, Jeremy Sinnott, and Ashton Sinnott.

Calling hours will be 2-4 PM on Friday, May 5th, 2023 at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH, with prayers at 3:30pm by Fr. Patrick Gilbert.
