IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gay Ann
Purser
March 18, 1955 – March 13, 2026
Farmington, NH
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a truly remarkable woman, Gay Ann Purser, who left this world far too soon on March 13, 2026 after a courageous journey with pancreatic cancer. Gaye was born March 18, 1955 in Dover NH, the daughter of Wilfred and Dorothy Gagne. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Purser, partner Michael Johnson and her grandson Brayden of Farmington NH. Her Aunt Yvonne Hale of Dover. Siblings: Suzanne Gagnon, husband Daniel of Somersworth NH, Michael Gagne, wife Denise of Rochester NH, Ray Gagne, Paul Gagne, wife Twila. Many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a light in the lives of everyone who knew her—known for her fun, outgoing personality and her love for family and traveling . She embraced life fully, always ready to make memories, share laughter, and bring joy to those around her.
Above all, she was an incredible mother, a role she carried with deep love, strength, and unwavering devotion. But perhaps her most cherished title was “Grammy.” Her grandson, Brayden, was the center of her world—her favorite human. She found her greatest happiness in the simple, meaningful moments they shared: daily breakfasts, long car rides filled with conversation and laughter, and cheering him on at every one of his sporting events. Those moments were her greatest treasures.
Her love was boundless, her spirit unforgettable, and her presence irreplaceable. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though she is no longer with us, her love, laughter, and the beautiful memories she created will live on forever in our hearts. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date when warmer weather makes it easier for family and friend to come together to honor her memory.
