Alton, NH

Gail Judy Kleeberg, longtime resident of Alton NH, was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She left this world on November 13, 2021 at the age of 75 after a brief illness.

Gail was born on October 16, 1946 to Everett Hale Rice and Laura L. Rice in Portsmouth, NH. Gail graduated from Exeter High School in 1966. She married the love of her life Donald K. Kleeberg on March 23, 1968 and they traveled to Yellowstone and Yosemite for their honeymoon in Donald's 1969 Mustang.

For many years Gail enjoyed competing in dog shows around New England, bowling leagues with her husband and taking family trips. After raising two sons she took a great interest in gardening and especially flowers. She had many beautiful flower gardens full of color. She also enjoyed photography and took thousands of pictures on their many trips around the country and Canada during retirement with Donald. She loved scenic nature pictures the most. Gail enjoyed fishing with Donald and many of their trips were to places they could fish such as Alaska, Maine, and Canada. Gail was also very involved in the Community Church of Alton and loved going to Sunday services. She was an avid collector of Disney memorabilia and had hundreds of Disney figurines. Gail also loved to follow politics as anyone who knew her can probably attest to.

Gail was preceded in death by her husband Donald, her parents, and her brother Robert and a sister Nancy Ann. She is survived by sons: Rodney Kleeberg and Eric Kleeberg with his significant other Karen Aufranc, 5 grandchildren: Kyle Kleeberg , Kassandra Kleeberg  and her fiancé Jacob Darby, Madison Kleeberg , Paul Aufranc, and Jasmine Eldred and husband Tarren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in December. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Church of Alton, NH.
