Freda L. Frost Wheeler, born on February 11, 1931, the daughter of Elmer and Lucinda (Drew) Jenness, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at home.

She worked for many local shoe shops, then became the first woman bus driver in 1968 through 1988, many students still can tell stories about that.

Freda enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing board games with Charlie and friends, and going to Bean "Suppa's"!

Survived by her husband of 17 years Charles Wheeler, her only child Debbie Green and husband Steve of Middleton, 3 grandchildren: Jamie DiPrizio of Farmington, Michael and wife Tanya Chesley of Wakefield, Matthew and wife Amber Chesley of Sanbornville, 5 great grandchildren: Lexi and Curt DiPrizio, Theresa, Matty and Skylar Chesley, also her stepchildren: John Frost and wife Diane, David Wheeler and wife Shannon, Rick Wheeler and wife Cindy, Bruce Wheeler and wife Louise, Maureen Brideau and husband Pat, Theresa Hemeon and husband Howard, Lynn Flaherty and husband Bill, Peter Wheeler and wife Sandie, her sister: Annie Welch and sister in law Edie Jenness, also many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her first husband Jack Frost, her parents, brothers: Clarence and Alden Jenness, brother in law Ned Welch, sister in law Barbara Jenness and stepson Jim Wheeler.

Calling Hours on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 1-3pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH, with a service at 3pm.
