Obituary

Fred E. Currier 3rd, age 77, died on Monday April 29th, 2013 at Twin Lakes Rehab Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Fred was born in Farmington, New Hampshire on July 9th, 1935 to Fred and Eleanor Babb Currier who preceded him in death. His father, Fred Currier 2nd, was owner of Currier's Garage in Farmington.
In 1958, Fred married Barbara Manning wife of 54 years. They had four children together Fred the 4th of Barrington, NH, Stephen, Daniel and David all of Farmington NH. Fred and Barbara had nine grandchildren. Fred had one sister, Loraine McBride, who lives in Farmington, NH.
Fred taught school for 32 years mostly at Spaulding High School in Rochester NH. He was best known for his teachings of United States history.
Fred was a member of the Aerie of Eagles 3183 and also a Mason.
At age 55, Fred retired from teaching and moved with Barbara to Mountain Home, Arkansas where he spent the rest of his life.
Fred will be remembered, first of all, as a devoted father. Also Fred will be remembered as a dedicated school teacher that had positive effects on many kids' lives. Fred also coached the JV baseball team at Spaulding High for many years.
Fred had a fierce passion for gardening. He was also a very talented wood worker.
Fred's memorial calling hours will be held at Peaslee's Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH 03835 on June 13th from 6-8pm.
