Franklin D. "Frank" Tufts, age 59, of Places Crossing in Farmington, died Friday, August 10, 2012 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a short illness.

Born September 13, 1952 in Rochester, the son of the late Myron and Louise (Kinney) Tufts. Raised in Middleton,graduate of Farmington High school, he had lived in Farmington for many years.

Franklin had worked for over 20 years at the former Davidson Rubber (Textron) in Farmington having closed the doors as one of the last employees, also had worked at the Home Depot in Rochester for several years and worked as a Licensed Nurses Assistant at the Riverside Rest Home in Dover, where he enjoyed working with the elderly. A former Volunteer fire fighter for the town of Middleton and had coached basketball in Farmington.

A fun loving man, he enjoyed short trips, bowling, Fishing and especially face booking with friends and family sending hugs and kisses, hearts and smiles to all he loved.

He is survived by two sons: Jeremy and his wife Jenness (Hapsis) of Farmington, Oliver and his wife Jessica (House) Tufts of Rochester, 1one daughter: Desiree Tufts of Gonic, several brothers and sisters, Grandchildren: Timothy, Joshua, Teagan and Alex, several cousins nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday August 18, 2012 at Barbara Jenness's house at 43 Union Street in Farmington from 1-4 pm.
