Frank E. Randall, age 91, of Sanbornville, NH passed away on October 29, 2013. He was born October 2, 1922 in Sanbornville, the son of Earl and Mabel Randall. He was raised and lived all his life in Sanbornville. He worked many years at Spaulding Fibre and retired in 1986 as Paper Mill Superintendent.. He served in the Army during WWII and was in the famous 3rd division. He served in Italy, France, Germany and Austria He wore the oak leaf cluster, the good conduct medal, the combat infantry badge, the distinguished unit badge, the purple heart ,as he was wounded in France, the E1O and the Middle East ribbons. He was recipient of the bronze star medal and was awarded the first oak leaf cluster.
Frank was an active member of St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, and served on the vestry, the mens club, and was the grounds keeper. He was also an active member at Unity Lodge No. 62 in Union, NH and Unity Chapter No. 21 Order of the Eastern Star, Union, NH and served many times as Worthy Patron and Associate Patron of Unity Chapter No. 21.
Frank is survived by his wife of 66 years, Alberta (Dunk) Randall, 5 children, David and Margie Randall, Alan & Doris Randall, Philip and Cheryl Randall, Gary and Vicki Randall, Carol (Randall) and Gerry Pike, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren and his sister Marion Karcher, as well as many nieces and nephews.. He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Richard, Fred, and Raymond.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church on High Street, Sanbornville, NH with Rev. Susan Poulin, pastor, as celebrant
Urn interment will follow with military honors at Lovell Lake Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be in his memory to St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, High Street, Sanbornville, NH 03872.
