Frank William Downs, age 65, of Sycamore Boulevard in Farmington, died quietly at home, July 10, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

Born November 23, 1952 in Rochester, NH, a son of Lawrence E. and Stella M. (Smith) Downs, he was raised in Lebanon, Maine, and was a longtime resident of Farmington.

He had worked as a maintenance man at Pentair in Dover.

Frank enjoyed horses and pony pulling, he had been a member of the New England Draft Horse Association. He also enjoyed fishing and ice fishing.

Survived by his mother Stella Downs, his wife: Deborah L. (Bodwell) Downs, children: Frank W. Downs, Jr., Ted Moody, Regina Nason, Judy E. and husband Howard Patch, 9 grandchildren: Jazmine, TJ, Alyssa, Austin, Corporal Howard Patch Jr., Private First Class Timothy Patch , Kevin, Brandon and Adam, a great granddaughter Adeline, a brother Rodney and wife April Downs, 6 sisters: Donna and Chuck, Shirley and Tim, Dottie and Bob, Rose, Sandy and Sharon, also many cousins, nieces and nephews, mother in law Audrey, and brother in law's: Charles and Sandy Bodwell, Lance and Andrea Bodwell. Predeceased by a daughter Lisa and a brother Larry Downs.
