Obituary
Francis H. Fifield, age 94, of Milton, died March 12, 2012 at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover.
Born November 1, 1917 in Wakefield, NH the son of George R. and Blanche E. (Penney) Fifield, he resided in Milton for over fifty years.
Prior to retirement, he was employed as a Machinist at the former Spaulding Fibre Co.
Francis loved his family and friends, he especially loved fishing and hunting.
Widower of the late Marjorie V. Fifield, who died in 2006, he is survived by his son Robert H. and wife Elaine Fifield of Farmington, 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a sister Louise Littlefield of North Carolina, also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Virginia Stoddard.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington with Pastor Brad Trafton, officiating, with a calling hour prior to the service from 12 Noon-1 pm.
