Forest W. Hartford, Sr., age 82 of Farmington, NH, passed away quietly at home on February 23, 2025.

Born December 15, 1942 in Exeter, NH, a son of Horace Hartford, Sr. & Effie (Forest) Hartford, the family was raised in Dover, NH, where he met his wife Betty.  They resided in Farmington, NH for many years.

Forest had worked in earlier years at local shoe factories, also at Pittsfield Box and Lumber.  He was a hardworker, even at a young age.  He was very mechanically inclined.

He enjoyed watching wrestling, old movies and loved time spent with his family.

Widower of the late Betty J. (Currier) Hartford, he is survived by their 8 children: Robin Wade, Forest "Butch" Hartford, Jr., Carla Bickford, Pamela Willard, Robert Goings, Jr., Patricia Sprague, Wendy Locke and Brian Emery, many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, 3 siblings: Ruthie Mandigo, Larry Hartford and Steven Hartford, Sr., also many Nieces and Nephews.  Predeceased by siblings: Jerry Hartford, Horace Hartford, Jr. (Hummy), Charles Hartford, Sr., Irene Groves and Jean Brochu, granddaughters Tanya & Jana and grandson Joshua.
