Florence C. Brannan, age 88, of Hare Road in Milton, passed away March 17, 2018 at Hyder Hospice House in Dover.
Born October 9, 1929 in Dover, the daughter of Arthur and Clarina (Cote) Boucher, she grew up in Durham and attended schools in Newmarket, resided a few years in Gonic and lived over 50 years in Milton.
For many years, she was a stitcher at Alton Shoe in Farmington, she also worked at various other shoe factories. In her later years, she just enjoyed puttering around the house with her dogs Dodie and Jenny and going to HoneyDew for coffee with her friend Gloria.
If you asked her how she was doing, it was always the same answer "I'm surviving", which always gave us a chuckle.
For the last several years, she has lived with her son Eddie and has always enjoyed telling him what to do, how to cook, etc.
She will be missed by many.
