Eva C. Morrill, age 81, of Hopper Road, Acton, Maine, died February 14, 2013 at Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.



Born March 1, 1931 in Needham, MA, the daughter of Frederick and Agda (Freidholm) Meyer, as a young girl, her family moved up to the Acton, Maine/Milton Mills, NH area, where she resided all her life.



A loving homemaker and mother, she was a foster parent of 33 children. Eva was a member of: Order of the Eastern Star, Acton Corner Fellowship, Milton Woman's Club, Pleasant Valley Grange, a Past Master and Liberty Chapel Congregational Church. She was active with the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and 4-H clubs.



Survived by her son Fred R. Morrill, Jr. and wife Denise, 3 grandchildren: Fred R. Morrill, III and fiancee' Kimberly Prescott, Matthew S. Morrill and Kristie Matot, 2 great granddaughters: Lindsey Matot and Eva M. Morrill, a foster son Michael Hibbard, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sons: Stewart and Robert Morrill and 7 brothers: Warren, Reginald, Ernest, Carl, Robert, Frederick Jr. and George Meyer.



Calling hours are Friday from 5-8 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road in Sanbornville (Wakefield), NH. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 am at Liberty Chapel Congregational Church in Milton Mills, NH with Pastor John Kane, officiating.
