Etta Mae Rogers, age 88, of Waldron Road in Farmington, died August 8, 2017 at Colonial Hill in Rochester.
Born October 6, 1928 in Pembroke, Maine, daughter of Roy and Grace (Lyons) Dennison, she resided in Farmington, NH for over 50 years.
She was retired from Spaulding Composites.
Etta Mae enjoyed camping, motorcycling with daddy Mal, riding her scooter, loved her flowers, was a good cook/baker and was known as "cat woman", she cared for, tamed and loved stray cats, also her dogs.
Widow of Ralph Morton and Malcolm Rogers, she is survived by 5 children: Helen and husband Craig Hastings of Strafford, Sandra Hackett of Berlin, Joyce and husband Percy Day of Farmington, Nelson Morton of Farmington, Dennis Morton of Milan, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister Virginia Waterhouse, 2 brothers: Clifford Dennison and Wayne Dennison, all of Maine, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Sharon Morton and a brother Lawrence Dennison.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 14, 2017 at 11am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with a calling hour prior to the service from 10-11am. Interment will follow at 2pm at NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. If desired, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association.
