Erik Lee Carlsen, age 54 of Joshua Street, died unexpectedly on July 29, 2021 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

Born in Portsmouth, NH on May 2, 1967, son of Frank and Kathleen Frances (Paige) Carlsen. He was raised in Rye, NH.

Erik enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, riding his Harley Davidson Sportster Motorcycle, riding around in his '86 Pontiac Grand Prix and hanging out with great friends, making great memories.

He was a driver for American Transportation. A former employer and longtime friend Jorge of 30+ years at Portsmouth Quality Flooring for the Seacoast area as a Carpet Installer.

Survived by his one son: Erik L. Carlsen, II and his wife Bryanna of Milton Mills, NH, one daughter: Carolejilene A. and husband Casey Goodwin of Rochester, NH, one brother: Daniel L. DeFalco of Farmington, NH, a close friend whom he considered as a daughter: Jessica L. Paradis of Quincy, MA three sisters: Patricia Wright of Milton, NH, Debra Williams of Lebanon, ME, and Carla Lavoice of Rochester, NH, two grandchildren: Alissa Goodwin and William Hussey, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Predeceased by his parents.

A Celebration of Erik's Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
