Elizabeth Ann King Corliss, Oct 29, 1933 – June 14, 2016.
Our beloved Liz was the dedicated mother of 6, grandmother of 19, great grandmother of 16 and great, great grandmother of 2. Kind-hearted, lovable and generous, Liz always made her home open to anyone in need of attention and compassion.
A graduate of a 1 room schoolhouse in Farmington, Liz was one of 11 children and is survived by 4 sisters: Cynthia, Julia, Rita and Shirley.
On her 3 acres in Berwick, Liz loved raising flowers such as roses, lilies and organic fruits and vegetables with a specialty in strawberries, corn, squash and blueberries. Liz enjoyed card games with children such as Skip-Bo and dice games with friends and family. Although she never drove a car, at age 80 her granddaughter, Jamie, convinced her to drive on a local go-cart track which Liz found joyous.
In her last years, Liz was loved and cared for by family and friends much in the way she loved and cared for so many. Always loving, Liz will always be loved and missed.
A wake for Liz will occur on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 10 AM at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central St. Farmington NH. Graveside services to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
