Edward Joseph Richard, (90), of Middleton, New Hampshire, passed away on March 21st, 2023.

‍Edward, was born to Ralph O. Richard and Genevieve Gaudette Richard, on June 1st, 1932, in Exeter, New Hampshire. He was an avid Hunter, Fisherman and Golfer, a man of many hobbies. Ed enlisted in the Navy serving on the USS Brownson, proudly serving his Country from July 1951 until August 1955. During his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and Navy Occupation Service Medal.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife Judith and nine children, Cindy (Gary) Eldredge of Pittsfield, Roxanne Richard of Exeter, Candice (Mark) Egan of Newmarket, Brenda Richard Jones of Newmarket, Angelique Richard of Somersworth, Joey Richard of Washington, Jeff (Tracy) Richard of Washington, Caren (Dean) Pratt of Rochester and Erica Rock (Jubran Whalen) of Colorado.

Edwards family also consists of fourteen Grandchildren, Sixteen Great Grandchildren, Three Great, Great Grandchildren as well as Nieces and Nephews and is Survived by One Sister, Mae Rossiter of Florida.

Aside from his love for his various Hobbies, Edward had a deep love for his Country and his children. He was always a strong protector and had a great sense of humor, sprinkling his fun loving sarcasm wherever he went. Edward positively impacted our community and Family, he will truly be missed.

Graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday April 19, 2023, 11am at Exeter Cemetery in Exeter, NH.
