Earl J. Richards, "Pa", age 95, of Witchtrot Road in Sanbornville, died May 18, 2021.

Born May 11, 1926 in Salem, Massachusetts, son of Earl J. Richards and Anne (Scott) Richards, he attended schools there.  He also resided in Marblehead, Ipswich, and Cape Cod, Massachusetts.  Pa lived in Sanbornville, NH with his daughter Anne, son in law Bob, and grandchildren, Alisa and JohnPaul.

Retired, United States Navy, Boilerman First Class, he served from 1943-1964, during World War II and Korean.  He had worked on Atlantis II and Explorer I.

Widower of the late Veronica N. (MacDonald) Richards, he is survived by their 5 children: Mary Elizabeth Nikas, Matthew Richards, Anne S. Eaton, Luke M. Richards and Mark G. Richards and predeceased by his favorite son John Allen Richards and sisters: Julia Pierce and Mildred Eliot. He is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren and predeceased by grandson Daniel A. Nikas and great-grandson Sebastian Wild Pelletier.

Earl loved sitting in his swing watching the world go by.  He was always happy for the folks who honked their horns and gave a big wave.

A private graveside service will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery (St. Anthony's) in Sanbornville, NH.  In Pa's memory, we ask folks to share an ice cream with an elderly old timer near them.  Oh, and John "Tag your it."  To express condolences, please visit:  www.peasleefuneralhome.com
