Dylon Thomas Cody, age 24, of Saco, Maine, died June 19, 2021 as the result of a motorcycle accident in East Wakefield, New Hampshire.
Born May 19, 1997 in Spring Valley, Illinois, son of Jeffrey Raymond Cody and Rachel Rose (Gualandi) Barrow, he lived 10 years in Wells, ME, having attended elementary and middle school, a graduate of Wells High School Class of 2015. Most recently he resided in Saco, ME and prior to that in Sanford, ME.
He was a 1st Scout in Rank. While in Wells, beginning from a young age, Dylon belonged to Baseball, Basketball teams and Football, "2012 State Champs". He was a member of Odyssey Of The Mind and an Honor Roll Student. Dylon played the clarinet. He had such a love for music and fondness for karaoke. He had very creative abilities, was artistic and most recently, he had a passion for his new motorcycle and riding it.
Dylon worked as a Plater for Praxair Surface Technologies of Biddeford, ME, also a Drywaller and a cook at Litchfield's Bar and Grill in Wells.
Dylon was a hard worker, a perfectionist, and while audacious at times, had a compassionate heart for people and life.
Dylon treasured his entire family. He is survived by his mother: Rachel Barrow of Springvale, ME, father: Jeff Cody of Sanford, ME, maternal grandparents: Lita Bontrager and Michael Gualandi, 5 brothers: Antony Michael, Sebastian Raye, Ian Joseph, Dante Alexander, Miles Roy, 2 sisters: Elizabeth Rose, Alora Rae, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by a sister: Lilliana Rose.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday July 2, 2021 at 11:00am, at Oakdale Cemetery on Twombley Road in Sanford, Maine. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sarah Davey, C/O Dylon Cody 3229 Province Lake Road East Wakefield, NH 03830.
