Center Barnstead, NH

Douglas "Ted" Tedcastle, age 78, of Center Barnstead, NH passed away on April 27, 2023 at Epsom Healthcare, after a brief illness.

He was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 29, 1944, son of Arthur Thomas Tedcastle and Ethel Lucy (Coe) Tedcastle. He was raised in Connecticut and spent summers with his family in NH. He moved to New Hampshire when he was 16, and lived in Barnstead since then.

He served in the National Guard, and was a proud Vietnam veteran.

He was the owner and operator of White Oak Plumbing and Heating, and worked hard his entire life. He only began to slow down working when his health declined in the last few months.

Ted enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his camp in West Stewartstown, NH. He was an avid snowmobiler in the winter months.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brian D. and Jennifer Tedcastle, and his two grandsons Christopher and Benjamin Tedcastle. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Elaine M. (Dame) Tedcastle, and his brother Thomas Tedcastle.

A private graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Barnstead, NH.
