ALTON — Dorothy A. Patch, age 78, of Alton, died August 18, 2010, at Wolfeboro Bay Care.
Born May 21, 1932, in Boston, Mass., the daughter of Francis R. and Mildred M. (Christensen) Vizard, she was raised and resided in Somerville, Mass., for years, where she attended school. She has resided in Alton, N.H., for many years. Dorothy had worked as a caregiver for the Minute Women in Lexington, Mass., and also had worked as a caregiver for the Hyke Fund for the town of Alton for many years. She was a member of the Community Church of Alton.
Widow of the late Bertram D. Patch, who died in 1970, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by: her son Robert and his wife Laura Vizard; two grandchildren, Kimberly and her husband Leo Perron of Mississippi, Jennifer and her husband Mike Lebrecque of Alton; and three great-grandchildren, Kendra Thibeault of Alton, Zachary Kyllonen of Mississippi, and Caleb Garza of Texas.
