With very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dorothy Faye Lucien on October 18, 2024. Dorothy was born on October 20, 1941, in Sioux City Iowa, to Ethel and Myron Parker. Dorothy, better known to her family and friends as Dodie, was a loving mother, sister and grandmother who cherished family above everything. She found extraordinary joy in being surrounded by family and friends, playing bingo and listening to her favorite music. Dodie had great passion for life, she could light up any room with laughter and joy.
She is survived by her sisters; Katherine "Kay" Noonan, Helen Oliver and Patricia Noonan; her brothers Robert Parker and David Parker; her two children William Lucien II his wife Linda Lucien and Lisa Stone. Dodie is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Regina Zimmermann, Joshua Lucien and Andrea Lucien, as well as her great grandchildren Ava Kriesten, Damien Mackey, Genevieve Zimmermann, Harmony Mackey and Annabelle Mackey as well as her many loved ones and friends.
Dodie's strength, independent spirit and laughter will be forever remembered by those who knew and loved her. Dodie will be lovingly laid to rest along side her late husband William H. Lucien, I.
Graveside Service will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster HWY, Boscawen, NH 03303 on Thursday October 24, 2024 at 10am.
