Dorothy "Virginia" Hobbs, 89, of Milton, NH, left this earth to meet her husband of 66 years, Maurice Hobbs, Sr. in heaven on March 19, 2015. She was surrounded by her family and at peace.

She worked during World War II at Champlin Box Factory and in the late 1960s at JC Penney. She was a homemaker and caregiver to her family, including taking care of her mother until her death in 1960. She raised 5 children and helped bring up her grandchildren. She volunteered at Allen School in Rochester as a bus monitor and took in several children during the holidays from St. Charles Childrens Home in Rochester during the 1960s. She was very devoted to her family and her pets.
She spent her summers on Townhouse Pond in Milton and entertained friends and relatives every weekend. They permanently moved into "The Camp" in 1971. After selling the property on the lake, she and her husband purchased property on Teneriffe Mountain in Milton, and she resided there until her death. She was a very prideful person and took great care to make sure everything was in its place. She made sure that every holiday and birthday was special to her family.
