Doris Louise Gordon, age 97, formerly of Farmington, NH, passed away April 3, 2024 at Studley Home in Rochester, NH, where she most recently resided.

Born on June 10, 1926 in Center Barnstead, NH, a daughter of Fred Thomas Pitman and Harriett M. (Lawrence) Pitman Wilson, she lived in Barnstead during her youth and resided in Farmington, NH since 1940, a graduate of Farmington High School, Class of 1944.

In earlier years, Doris was a shoeworker at local shoe factories, including H.O. Rondeau Shoe, Dover Shoe and Encore Shoe.

Doris enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, playing Solitaire, watching TV and tending to her flower garden.

Widow of the late Norman Franklin Gordon, she is survived by their 2 sons: Larry & wife Nancy Gordon, Paul & wife Joelle Gordon, 2 granddaughters: Nichole Mosher and Stacey Manteuffel, 2 great grandchildren: Makenna Mosher & Joshua Mosher, brother Fred Pitman, also many Nieces and Nephews.  Predeceased by sisters: Ruth Tibbetts, Alice Labrecque & Beatrice Knight and brother Arthur Pitman.
