Doreene S. Seale passed away Thursday July 21, 2022 at Mass General Hospital surrounded by loved ones.

Doreene was born on February 7, 1949 in Woodsville, NH, the daughter of Paul and Stammatoula (Xenakes) Smith.

Doreene graduated from Groton High School in 1967 and later in life attended Macintosh College.  Doreene was an avid gardener and she enjoyed being outside in nature.  She was fond of cooking, canning and playing her video games.  Doreene loved spending time with family and friends and always made everyone feel included.  She was a life member of the VFW Post 4485 Auxiliary and she liked to volunteer or donate when she could.

Doreene is predeceased by both her parents and survived by her sisters and brother; Beatrice Davis of North Haverhill, NH, Bernice Paye and her husband Wayne of Wells River, VT, and Louis Smith of Bethlehem, NH.  Doreene is survived by her husband Robert F. Seale of Farmington, NH with whom she spent 53 loving years together and their children; Anita Hart and husband Todd Belvo of South Lyon, MI, Tammy Allard and husband Charles of Middleton, NH, Terry Seale of Farmington, NH and Megan M. Harris of North Berwick, ME; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at the Meaderboro Community Church at 151 Meaderboro Road, Rochester, NH at 12:00pm on August 14, 2022.  A celebration of life will follow at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4485 at 43 High Street, Somersworth, NH.
