Donna Cheever, 62, of Sanbornville, NH, formerly of Lynn, MA, died unexpectedly on July 12, 2014, at home.

Born May 21, 1952 in Lynn, Ma, she was predeceased by her parents, Warren C. and Geraldine (LeBlanc) McAuley of Lynn, Ma, and her two brothers, Daniel & Kevin McAuley of Lynn, Ma.

Donna was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, & "Nana". Members of her family include her husband of 41 years, Donald J Cheever Jr, and four daughters, Rachel & Brad Surrency of New Port Richey, Fl; Bonnie & Sean Corrinet of Lynn, Ma; Dawn & Tyler Alie of Sanbornville, NH; and Crissy Cheever of Barnstead, NH. She was the grandmother of five grandchildren, who were her world, Kiera, Julia, McAuley, Brantley, and Meghan. She is also survived by her three sisters Warene & Kevin Kane of Salem, Ma; Deborah Cartwright of Salem, Ma; and Julie & Pat Dicenzo of Saugus, Ma; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws whom she loved dearly; and also her beloved dog Mya.

Donna was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family on Lovell Lake before her passing; even moving her own family to Sanbornville in 1985 to live on the lake she loved as a child. In the past she volunteered for the Wakefield Woman's Club, 4-H, and Wakefield Parks & Recreation. Donna was an avid reader who loved to dance and was rarely seen without a smile on her face. She was a basketball athlete and coach for many years and also had a passion for horseback riding and animals. Donna supported her children in everything they did and adored her grandchildren tremendously.

Funeral services will be held at St. Anthony's Church, 251 Meadow St, Sanbornville, NH on Saturday July 19 at 11am.
