Donald J. Furber, age 77 of Farmington, died July 22, 2014 at home.

Born August 24, 1936 in Farmington, the son of Otto J. and Evelyn A. (Tanner) Furber. Don was a life long resident in Farmington.

He worked many different jobs including: self-employed logger, firewood sales, owner and operator of D&D driveway sealing.

Hobbies included hunting & fishing, spending time with family and traveling to Florida for the winter months.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years: Linda L. (Nutter) Furber of Farmington, 4 son: Donald J. Furber of Huntington Long Island, NY, John O. and his wife Angela Furber of Ossipee, Dale and his wife Cheri of Phoenix, AZ, Robert Furber of Ossipee, 1 daughter: Samantha L. Furber and partner Mike Hillsgrove of New Durham, Several grandchildren: Chantell, Johny, Zach, Leanna, Tyler, Justin, Britt, Brian, Jacob, Dylan and his # 1 grandchild "Baby Girl" Hannah that had his heart and was everything to him and always will, no matter where he is gone, he will always be with her, aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews including a special nephew Kirk A. and wife Wanda Taylor of Barrington, a special niece: Melinda Ray of Lebanon, ME. Predeceased by 1 brother: Robert Furber and 1 uncle: Floyd Tanner.

Private family service will be held at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington. Cremation service provided by Peaslee Funeral Home 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH.
