Doane Fadley age 69, of Alton, NH, passed away on December 14, 2025.

Doane will be missed in so many ways by so many family and friends.

He was the rock, the backbone, of our family, a fierce protector and stand up role model. Doane lived a full life, one most of us can only aspire to.  He loved the wildlife and beauty of the landscapes of this great country.

He will be missed for his humor, his love of food, his ability to always make you feel like every time you saw him, it felt like coming home.  It's going to take a little time to understand life with a gigantic, larger than life, Doane sized hole in it.  We'll miss his bear hugs and shoulder rubs (sometimes a little too hard).

Everyone should have a Doane Fadley in their life.  We'll put one step in front of the other and keep moving forward, supported by family, friends and all the great memories.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Raymond S. Doyon American Legion Post 69 Somersworth NH from 1 to 4 pm.  Please join us and share a story or two as you know he would.
