Diane Marie Smith, age 56, of Vachon Drive in Milton, died suddenly, November 28, 2011, at home.
Born September 7, 1955, the daughter of Robert E. and Gloria B. (Gilchrest) Briggs, she was raised in Northboro, Mass. and resided in Milton, NH since 1984.
Diane was employed as an Insurance Assistant at Liberty Mutual in Dover, she was also a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant.
She was a member of Milton's Merry Milliners Red Hat Society, she was also active with many social circles of common interests, including, "Stamping Up" and the "Lunch Bunch". She especially loved her family and friends and her pets: Willow, Gracie and Sophie.
Survived by her husband of 27 years: Richard A. Smith of Milton, her father: Robert E. Briggs of Barnstable, MA, her 2 daughters: Stacy and husband Jon Morrison of Wells, Maine, Janice and husband Travis Day of Penacook, NH, her 2 granddaughters: Bailey and Emily Morrison, 3 siblings: Robert E. Briggs, Jr. of Dennisport, MA, Paula Poore of Oceanside, CA and Mark Briggs of N.Granby, CT, also many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
