Diane E. (Cannon) Champy, age 62, formerly of Long Ridge Road in Wakefield, died September 7, 2011 at Riverside Rest Home in Dover.
Born April 24, 1949 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, the daughter of Gordon B. and Barbara A. (Carley) Cannon, she resided in Wakefield, New Hampshire, for 22 years, having come from Newton, NH.
Diane graduated from UNH with her Bachelors degree in animal science, she also received her Paralegal degree and her Nursing degree. She had been employed as a Registered Nurse.
She is survived by her mother Barbara A. Cannon of Loudon, NH, her son David Champy, II and his wife Laurie of Milton, NH, a daughter Tammy A. Hatch of Plaistow, NH, 5 grandchildren, a sister: Patricia Calabrese of Wolfeboro, NH, also several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her caretaker and best friend who was there by her side, Wayne and his wife Teauila Travassis.
There are no calling hours, family and friends are welcome to a Memorial Service on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street in Farmington, NH with Pastor Bob Walsh of Nute's Ridge Bible Chapel, officiating.
