In Loving Memory of David Wayne James, Jr. age 67

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Wayne James Jr., a loving father, grandfather, and friend. He departed this world on September 6th, 2023 leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.

Born on January 25th,1956 in Farmington, Maine to David W. James Sr. & Faye Anita James (Richards). David led a remarkable life, characterized by his resilience and love for family.

He is survived by his partner Roxanne, his seven children, Heidi Vargas, Heidi Bennett, David W. James, III, Jessica James, Geoffrey James, Kati Campbell and Michael James, and their spouses, who will forever carry his spirit in their hearts, grandchildren: Pablo, Isaiah, Zach, Lucas, Ava, Ashlyn, Branson, Peighton and Hudson, a great grandchild Madison, his sisters: Kathy, Cynthia and Vicky, brothers:  Peter, Jeffrey, Robert and Theodore, many nieces and nephews, also his third wife Sue Bennett.  David was a devoted husband who shared his life with three loving wives. Though two have predeceased him, Donna James and Carolyn Brouillard, he maintained close bonds with their families and children, nurturing a spirit of unity. Also predeceased by his parents David W. James Sr. & Faye Anita James and a nephew Timothy Williams.

His zest for life was evident in his hobbies. David had a passion for racing, spending many exhilarating moments on the track. He also enjoyed the camaraderie of horseshoe games, where he demonstrated his competitive spirit. In his leisure, David could be found dancing, moving gracefully to the rhythms of life, or playing pool with friends and family, sharing laughter and creating unforgettable moments. David's legacy is not just in his accomplishments, but in the hearts he touched along the way. His kindness, laughter, and love will forever be missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him. As we bid farewell to David we celebrate a life well-lived and the indelible mark he left on all of us. May he find eternal peace, reunited with loved ones who went before him.

Family and Friends are welcome to a Celebration of Life on Sunday September 17, 2023 at the Rochester American Legion from 1-6pm.  Rest in Peace, David, you will always be remembered and loved.
