David Alan Hagar, age 70, of Dodge Cross Road in Farmington, died suddenly, but quietly at home on Sunday, December 11, 2016.
Born October 3, 1946 in Rochester, a son of Carroll Hagar and Stella (Pageau) Hagar Kerr, he was a lifelong resident of Farmington.
A Veteran of the United States Navy, he was a member of the American Legion.
Retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, a Foreman with Reserve Manpower, he also had worked as a delivery person with Napa Auto Parts for over 10 years.
David loved spending time at camp in West Milan, where he loved hunting and fishing.
Survived by his loving family, wife of 46 years: Diane M. (Babb) Hagar and their two children: Aaron David Hagar and wife Nicole, Amy Lee Vachon and husband Gregory, 3 grandchildren: Cole Michael Smith, Morgan Rae Hagar and Alexis Tisher, his sister: Loretta Gorton, also several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and brother: Alan "Mouse" Hagar.
Calling hours are Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 3-5pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with a service at 5pm and military honors by the US Navy.
