David B. Marsters age 83, of Salmon Falls Road in Rochester, died on March 16, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born on February 2, 1939 in Rochester, NH, son of Elliot Whitney Marsters and Louise M. (Walbridge) Marsters. Raised in Lebanon, ME, moving to Rochester in 1960.

David owned and operated D. Marsters Trucking and construction for over 20 years. He had worked 10 years at the Spaulding Fibre Company and also 10 years as a truck driver for Gypsum Haulage. He always worked as a logger; having sold many cords of firewood over the years.

A Veteran of the United States Navy.

David enjoyed working, spending time with family, farming, hunting and deep sea fishing.

Survived by his beloved wife of almost 62 years; Frances "Frannie" J. (Ross) Marsters, son David C. Marsters and wife Doreen, granddaughter Heather Plourde and husband Josh, grandson Luke Marsters, 3 great grandchildren Colton, Annabelle, and Emma, brother Thomas Marsters, sister Diane Voight, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brother Robie Marsters.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday March 20, 2022 from 1pm-4pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street in Farmington, with a service at 4pm. Military Honors will be following the service.
