Darleen Jenny Willard, age 59, of Chestnut Hill Road in Farmington, died February 12, 2012, peacefully, of ovarian cancer, at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover.
Born September 15, 1952 in Rochester, the daughter of Albert and Madeline (Sargent) Foss, she lived in New Durham a while and resided most of her life in Farmington.
A homemaker, she enjoyed doing embroidery, gardening, collecting Indian items and listening to Elvis. She was a former shoeworker, having worked at many area shoe shops.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years Frank S. Willard Sr., 2 sons: Frank S. Willard, Jr. and wife Donna of Rochester, Ray S. Willard and wife Gayle of Farmington, a daughter Laura J. Cunningham and husband Matthew of Rochester, 5 grandchildren: Holly, Anthony, John, Matthew and Alexandria, 3 great grandchildren: Landon, Alyssa and Katie and a brother Albert Foss, Jr. and wife Cheryl of South Carolina. She was predeceased by a grandson Joshua Willard, a sister Shirley Corson and a brother Harold Foss. "We love you and already miss you mom."
As per her request , there will be no services. Arrangements are in the care of Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH.
