Daniel Joseph Marisseau, age 72, of Center Tuftonboro, NH, passed away, June 4, 2025 at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro, NH.
Born December 24, 1952 in Haverhill, MA, a son of Eugene & Jane (Eddy) Marisseau, he resided in Groveland, MA for many years and lived in Center Tuftonboro, NH for 28 years.
Prior to retirement, he was the founder, owner, and president, with his wife Cheryl, of New England Techni-Coil, Inc. He manufactured electromagnets and coils, and his company was one of only five like it in the United States at the time of its founding. He was a valued source for government facilities, labs, and universities around the world, and his products were part of crucial equipment that improved and saved many lives, from water purification systems to MRI and cancer radiation machines. His company enriched the local community and is still in operation today.
Daniel was dedicated to his family. He enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, raising livestock including cows and horses, vegetable gardening, and traveling to Europe with friends. He volunteered his time for many people. He always loved the woods, and upon retirement he enjoyed working with wood and resin art.
A lifetime member of Future Farmers of America, he was active with Castle in the Clouds in Moultonborough and a parishioner of St. Katharine Drexel Parish.
He was a devoted husband of 53 years to Cheryl J. (Willard) Marisseau, and an amazing, loving father of: Toby Marisseau, Matthew Ryan Marisseau and Rebecca Rose "Boots" Marisseau, 4 grandchildren: Victoria (Marisseau) Lincoln, Tristan Marisseau, Savannah Marisseau & Turner Marisseau, 1 great grandson Jacob Lincoln. He has 2 sisters: Rose Lacefield & Terri Buchewiecki, several nephews and one niece, and also brother in law Roy Willard, Jr. Predeceased by his brother Mark Marisseau.
Family and friends are invited to attend Danny's funeral on Tuesday, June 10th. Calling hours will be held from 10am-11am at St. Katherine Drexel Parish (40 Hidden Springs Rd, Alton NH), followed by a Funeral Mass.
