Dale L. Sublette, age 77, of New Durham Road in Middleton, died June 7, 2011 at home in Middleton.

Born May 10, 1934 in Los Angeles, California, son of Lee and Winifred (Taylor) Sublette, he was raised in that area, also resided in Costa Mesa and Fullerton, CA and resided in Farmington and Middleton, NH since 1969.

He served with the United States Coast Guard for two years. In earlier years, Dale was an ambulance driver while in California. He was retired from Middleton Lumber, a tractor trailer truck driver for 30 years, he had driven many many miles.

Dale enjoyed riding a motorcycle, exploring mines while in California and shooting his 22. He also enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, loved his truck driving and talking on the C.B. radio.

Survived by his wife of 48 years: Sally R. (Stevens) Sublette and their 2 sons: Brian Sublette, Sean and wife Beth Sublette and 6 grandchildren, also 3 children by his first marriage: Michelle and husband Tony Valari, Jean David and Scott Kaske and several grandchildren, a brother: Dana and wife Pauline Sublette, a sister: Carole and Kurt Jackel, also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Renee' Sublette and son Kevin Kaske.

There are no calling hours, family and friends are welcome to a graveside service on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington.
