IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cynthia Fae
(Morgan) Garyait
March 18, 1950 – October 4, 2024
Cynthia Fae Garyait (Morgan) went to work in God's Garden October 4, 2024.
She was born March 18, 1950 in Rochester, NH to Maynard Anson Morgan (March 21, 1922-January 17, 2021) and Florence "Margaret" Jeanette Brown (December 4th, 1924-June 3, 1999). She had four siblings Lorna (October 17, 1953-September 6, 2013), Jeffrey (October 13, 1955-November 22, 1973), Bradley (January 8, 1948-May 5, 2022), and Peggy. The family later moved to the cozy town of Milton, NH where they had a beautiful view of the Milton Lake and Maynard's garden for over 50 years. She attended Nute High School where she later graduated. After graduating she left home and started a family, and would eventually study Early Childhood Development at McIntosh College in Dover, NH. During her lifetime she had seven children - Keith, David (August 29, 1971-January 2, 2022), Andy, Dean, Peter (June 5, 1986-June 2, 2000) Emily, and Gabrielle. She was also blessed with fifteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She returned to Rochester for a brief time and grew a secret garden tucked behind one of Rochester's less desirable old apartment buildings. Where she met many woodchucks and taught her children to sing out the window to the plants to help them grow. Eventually, Cynthia returned home to Milton where she added flower beds to the outskirts of her dad's garden and lived below him for many years growing old together.
She was a tiny woman, but her strength was admirable. She kept a neat home filled with drawings and pictures from her children and grandchildren. She put together many thoroughly enjoyed meals for her family over the years and even created a family cookbook. She was very frugal and known to visit yard sales and thrift stores. She was very creative with imagination and talent that always amazed her family. She was an intellectual overthinker, often putting her philosophical views into poetry and words of advice to her children.
She loved God, reading the Bible, singing old hymns and other favorite songs, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, many church, school, and lifelong friends, crafts, crochet, painting, drawing, reading, writing poetry, gardening, flowers, plants, nature, God's creatures both furry and feathered, cooking, coffee, Words With Friends, sci-fi, old movies and shows – especially Frazier, and the color green - all bright colors really.
Cynthia will be greatly missed but who she was will continue to live on through her children, family, and everyone she met.
We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8
God shall wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Revelation 21:4
then shall the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7
Jesus replied, "I assure you that today you will be with me in paradise." Luke 23:43
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:17-18
