Craig E. Hastings, age 73, of Crown Point Road in Strafford, died December 16, 2021 at Mass General in Boston.

Born October 20, 1948 in Rochester, NH, son of William & Esther (Howard) Hastings, he grew up in Strafford, NH.

A Veteran of the United States Army, he served during the Vietnam War.

Craig was retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, after 35 years.

He enjoyed his part time job and coworkers at the Recycling Center in Strafford.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting, car races, yearly vacations to Boothbay Harbor, Maine and time with his family.

Survived by his wife Helen Hastings, son Jason Hastings & girlfriend Kristina Danaher, granddaughter Chloe Hastings & partner Lindsay Chase, brother John & wife Bev Hastings, sisters: Cheryl Hastings, Linda & husband Clifford Dodson, Holly & husband Rick Adler, many nieces, nephews, sister & brother in laws.  Predeceased by his parents, & grandparents: Henry & Vivian Hastings, Mabel & Leslie Howard.
