Craig Groom, 63, of New Durham, New Hampshire, passed away on June 26, 2014. He is survived, loved, honored and missed by his three children; Brett Groom, Nathan Groom and Audra Kollmeyer; his four grandchildren, Emma Groom, Ethan Groom, Nathan Groom and Katelyn Groom; his two siblings Linda Pearson and Tommy Groom; and the love of his life, Janet.

He was born on September 5, 1950 to Jacqueline and Thomas Groom. He proudly served for twenty-six years in the Navy and "retired" to a job as first captain with FedEx. Both occupations provided him the opportunity to pursue his love of flying, his taste for adventure and his desire to see and experience new things. His top priority in life was always the well-being of his family and good friends. He was kind, loving, generous, and had a passion for the lake community, participating actively on the planning board. He enjoyed his life, worked hard and never passed up an opportunity to help where it was needed.

Calling hours will be held from 2:00-5:00p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, New Hampshire 03835.
