Obituary

Clifford W. Bardsley, 56, of Wakefield Road in Union, NH, died peacefully in his home on the morning of Friday, December 16, 2011.
Born September 23, 1955 in Waltham, MA, son of Paul James Bardsley Sr. and Patricia S. (Noyes) Bardsley, he was raised in Littleton, MA. He resided in Union, NH with his family since 1989.
Cliff was an auto mechanic in his younger years. Since disabled, he was a homemaker for his two growing children and his then wife. Cliff took much pride in keeping his home and lawn in perfect condition. His hard work ethic transcended into his volunteerism with the Wakefield Parks and Recreation where he served for 15 years, 3 as Chairman. He coached youth sports for the past 18 years in Wakefield, including Tee-Ball and Cal Ripken Baseball. He served as a past President of the Wakefield Cal Ripken League and the District 6 Commissioner for 3 years. In honor of Cliff's dedication to the Wakefield youth, Bardsley Field was named in the Wakefield Ball Park Complex in June of 2009.
Cliff also devoted 10+ years to the Wakefield Food Pantry. He spent his time serving on the Board, prepping food, working with recipients, and acting as the maintenance man. As many of the food pantry volunteers know, Cliff was a very particular man when it came to his work, done quite specifically, but always with love. In the Fall of 2011, to remind volunteers of his inspiring service, the Food Pantry Board honored Cliff with a new sign, "Cliff's Kitchen", which now hangs in the Food Pantry's kitchen.
Cliff, loved and respected by many, is survived by his mother Patricia S. (Noyes) Reid, his 2 children: daughter Daniele Susan Bardsley and Son Johnathon Clifford Bardsley, ex-wife of 25 years: Michele D. (Bernier) Bardsley, 4 brothers: Paul J. Bardsley, Jr., Stephen D. Bardsley, Philip A. Bardsley and Keith A. Bardsley, a sister Darlene Mulaney, also several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at his home in Wakefield, NH on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in honor of Cliff's life work to either:
