Clara Jane (Heath) Hartwell, age 89, passed away peacefully at home, September 23, 2014. Born March 10, 1925 to Leslie and Florence (Brown) Heath of Hudson, MA. A resident of Swampscott, MA for 52 years and summer resident of Alton Bay, NH. Member of the Garden Club and the Unitarian Church of Salem, MA. Predeceased by her husband of 63 years: Warren W. Hartwell, Jr.,survived by their son: Steven Hartwell of Belmont, CA and their daughter: Lisa Hartwell of Center Ossipee, NH. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 11:00 am at Peaslee Alton Funeral Home, 12 School Street, Alton, NH, interment will follow at New Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
