Claire Diane Dube, age 75, of Lakewood Drive in Alton Bay, died peacefully at home on Monday, May 25, 2015.

Born July 17, 1939 in Brunswick, Maine, the daughter of William and Leona (LaPrise) Rousseau, she resided in Raymond, NH and for years in Londonderry, NH and lived in Alton Bay, NH the past 24 years.

In earlier years, she was a volunteer aid at St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary School in Derry. A loving homemaker and mother, she had served as Housekeeper at the former St. Joan of Arc Parish in Alton. A communicant at St. Katharine Drexel Church in Alton, she was a member of the Ladies Guild and a longtime member of the church choir.

Also, she enjoyed fishing.

Survived by her husband of 53 years: Roger G. Dube and their 3 children: Diane Dube of Jacksonville, FL, Michelle and husband Derrick Phillips of Holly Springs, NC, Keith and wife Andrea Dube of Alton, 7 grandchildren: Chelsea, Alyssa, Stephanie, Steven and Mason, Ryan and Kyle, a brother: Gordon Rousseau of Melbourne, FL. Predeceased by her brother William Rousseau.

Calling hours are Friday from 5-8pm at Peaslee Alton Funeral Home, 12 School Street, Alton, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 10am at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 40 Hidden Springs Road (Route 28N) Alton, NH.
