IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christopher Hall
Edmunds
August 6, 1949 – August 28, 2021
At 2:40pm on Saturday, August 28th, Christopher Hall Edmunds finished his earthly sojourn of 72 years and joined his Maker, Defender and Redeemer in Heaven. Chris was born in New London, NH on August 6, 1949 to Arthur L. Edmunds, DVM and Ruth Humphrey Edmunds. A resident of NH his entire life, Chris envisioned a safe haven where all are welcome for rejuvenation and experiencing the wonderful love of Jesus.
In the 1970's he looked at a steep, thickly wooded and rocky plot of land and saw a city on a hill, a Christian Camp & Conference Center. For 46 years he nurtured that vision, Maranatha Family Ministries. Simultaneously building a huge and resourceful network of people from a myriad of backgrounds, age groups, skills, passions, and life stories, Chris was a weaver of people and projects.
He is survived by Brenda, his cherished wife of 50 years, and their children: Susanna, Jeremy, Mara, Lydia, Simeon, Julia, Keturah, Rebecca, Nathaniel & Keziah. He also leaves behind his sons-in-law, daughter-in law, 13 grandchildren and his siblings Lowell, Mark, Susan, Jean & Daniel. He is predeceased by his brother Jerry.
While we grieve our loss of this remarkable friend here on earth, we do not "grieve like others who have no hope" (I Thessalonians 4:13). Chris is now at peace in Heaven with no more earthly pains, and lives on in our memories.
