Charles Frank Staples, Jr., "Charlie", age 87, a longtime resident of Farmington, died November 19, 2023 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH.

Born January 8, 1936 in New Durham, NH, a son of Charles Frank Staples & Dolores (Willard) Staples, he lived in Farmington, NH for over 65 years.  He most recently resided at Birch Hill Center in Rochester.

Charlie was retired from the Highway Department "Road Crew" with the Town of Farmington.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley Davidson's and stock car ice racing in the local area.

Widower of the late Evelyn C. (Woods) Staples, who died in 2013, he is survived by their 3 children:  Charlene & husband Richard York, Wanda & husband Russell York, Charles Scott Staples & wife Lori, 4 grandchildren: Bridget, Heather, Scott & Frank, 9 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by 3 sisters and a brother.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1-3pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH.  Urn interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington.  To express condolences, please visit: www.peasleefuneralhome.com
