Charles Franklin Douglas, Jr., "Charlie", age 76 of Middleton, NH, died September 18, 2023 at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro, NH.

Born December 30, 1946 in Rochester, NH, a son of Charles Franklin Douglas, Sr. & Alice Elizabeth (King) Douglas, he resided in Middleton, NH since 1996, having previously resided in Londonderry, NH for years.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

Prior to retirement, he was a Software Engineer with Assurance Technology Corporation in Carlisle, Massachusetts.

Charlie enjoyed rock climbing, hiking, history, especially Gettysburg, loved programming, he was very interested in his Scottish Heritage, having been to Scotland twice, attending the Highland Games in New Hampshire and Vermont, visiting Fort Ticonderoga and Renaissance fairs, also a Johnny Cash fan.

Survived by his wife Donna M. (Goss) Douglas, 3 children: Darren Edward Goss & wife Sabrina Goss, Ryan Andrew Douglas, Sarah Elizabeth Douglas & girlfriend Cordellia Biller, 3 grandchildren:  Dakota Goss, Trevor Goss and Kiara Goss, also many Nieces and Nephews.  Predeceased by seven siblings: Elizabeth "Betty" Carlson, James Douglas, Edward Douglas, Desmond Douglas, Mona Douglas, Leo Douglas and William Douglas.
