Charles R. Clifford, III  "Charlie" age 67 of Effingham, passed away April 5, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

Born July 29, 1954 in Milo, Maine, son of Charles R. Clifford, II and  Kathleen Victoria (Doiron) Clifford, he resided in Effingham, NH since 2021, having previously resided in Nashua, NH, Billerica, MA and Watertown, MA.

Prior to retirement, he worked for many years with Honeywell.

Charlie loved fishing, he loved his family and his German Shepherds, including "Boomer".  He enjoyed reading books, firepits and landscaping his lawn.  An avid sports fan he loved the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins.

Widower of the late Betty Lou Clifford, who died in 2020, he is survived by daughter: Jamie Lee & husband Joshua Scotton, son: Charles R.  Clifford, IV and wife Joan Clifford, grandson: Gabriel Scotton, 3 granddaughters: Kenzei, Keelin & Kylee Clifford, sister Grace Evelyn Clifford & nephew Joel & wife Alejandra Kelley, brother Peter & wife Lynda Clifford, nephews & niece: Robert, David & Sarah Clifford.
