Carolyn Jessie Cameron, 79, a longtime resident of New Durham, NH passed away in her home on October 14, 2021 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.

Born in Barrington, NH on June 10, 1942 to the late Jesse G. and Vera E. Hodgdon, she grew up in Northwood, NH and married her late husband Edward R. Cameron on October 29,1960 in Northwood, NH.

She was an avid gardener and was well known for her gladiolas, wreaths and kissing balls. In her spare time, she liked to sew, latch hook, bottle dig, collect and restore antiques. She had a passion for fishing and bird watching.

A hard worker, she did whatever was needed to help support her family. She worked long hours and spent her off time helping her husband with firewood, digging and bagging trees for the nursery business and any other task that needed to be accomplished. She will be lovingly missed by her family and friends.

Carolyn was predeceased by her daughter Helda L. (Cameron) Kimball, her brothers, Robert Drew and Royce "CY" Hodgdon, her sisters Maxine Philbrick, Helen Eaton, and Barbara Thompson.

She is survived by her sons Edward R Cameron JR, and Everett G. Cameron, her daughters Robin v. Cullen, and Jane A. Kinsley, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, her sisters Flora Gardener, Gwendolyn Hodgdon, and Carla Gorman along with many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday October 23 ^rd , 2021. A calling hour will be held from 11:00am- 12:00pm with a memorial service beginning at 12:00pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street in Farmington, NH. A gathering to follow at the family farm on 14 Cameron Road in New Durham, family and friends are welcome.
